This is a really delayed post! I've been working on this one for like a week and a half. I could not get my pictures to upload! I've been very frustrated, almost considered quitting the whole blogger thing altogether, but finally got it to work (sort of). If this page looks weird sorry it's the best I could do! Here's the post
A couple weekends ago my good friend Jenelle came in from out of town to visit. It was so good to see her (it had definitely been awhile). We ended up going out to eat Friday night with a group of friends from high school, some of which I hadn't seen since Jenelle's wedding 2 years ago. We had a lot of fun catching up. Here's the rundown on these girls:
Sarah is getting ready to move to San Angelo. She found a rocker boydfriend who wears eyeliner (sometimes) but she thinks it's sexy. Sarah, I don't know of you read this but if you do, sorry I had to throw that part in! But I am very excited for her and the new change in scenery. I hope she loves it and has a great time. This is the best time to move, when she's still young and free.
Joann is the proud mother of a two-year-old (I think about two, is that right?) and has a job with a financial company in Lubbock. It sounded like a really great job and I am very happy she's found something she really enjoys.
Deborah is living in Abilene and is a personal trainer, considering going to ACU this fall to work on her Master's degree. I am so proud of her - I could not imagine trying to work go to grad school while you work. I had it easy! She says she loves it in Abilene and that its weird coming back to Lubbock because its seems like such a big town now. I think that's funny because it seems like the same old town to me. It is getting bigger though I will admit.
Jenelle and her husband Dubba (I feel weird calling him that because it feels like personal nickname and I really don't know him all that well, however, calling him Carl would feel weird too so anyway) they live in Midland. He is a banker, she is an accountant. They've started going to a church that they love that has a young married adults class (I'm a little jealous) that they've gotten really involved with. I am so happy they have a found a church home there and love it. I'm very excited about seeing them more now that Tech football is starting (if you didn't know, Dubba loves football like Casey loves hunting - Can anyone say obsessed? :) j/k).
So there's my quick update on everyone. I hope you guys didn't mind me talking about you. I had a great time catching up with everyone and hope we can stay in touch better!
Here are some pics from that weekend:
